Rebeka Amha is Program Manager of the GIZ-funded Farm Service Center Project-Green Innovations Centres for the Agriculture and Food Sector – Ethiopia (FSCP-GIAF-Ethiopia). She brings technical experience in market-driven agricultural value chain development and innovation grant management, represents the project with Government of Ethiopia officials and GIZ, and manages its day-to-day operations.
Before joining CNFA Europe, Mrs. Amha served as the Deputy Country Director/Monitoring and Evaluation Manager with MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates) on a private sector-driven agricultural value chain program. Previously, she was a Monitoring and Evaluation Expert and Researcher with ILRI (International Livestock Research Institute) on a crop and livestock value chain development project. Mrs. Amha was a Graduate Assistant Lecturer at Addis Ababa University while studying for her Master’s. As an undergraduate, she worked in Ethiopian government organizations such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Telecommunication Corporation, and the Road and Transport Authority.
Mrs. Amha holds a Master’s of Science in Economics with a specialization in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from Addis Ababa University.
